G'day all,
I'm currently a CPL (Helicopter) holder in Australia looking to come to Canada in Feb 2025. I have my conversion booked in with Mountain View Helicopters at the end of Feb and a job lined up at the start to mid of April.
My worry is with the delays of TC processing licences and permits, my license booklet will not be issued in time for my job in April.
However, I have been reading on here that it may be possible to be issued with a temporary 90 day licence whilst waiting for my booklet to be processed. Can someone please give some insight on how I will be able to apply for this temporary licence?
Really appreciate any help provided.

Re: Issuance of Temporary Licence
A temp licence can only be issued after the actual licence has been issued. Ask MV to contact TC to ask to speed it up for your job.

Re: Issuance of Temporary Licence
It might be dependant on the office you deal with, but when I talked to them directly, they had mentioned they might be able to speed up the process a bit if I show some proof that I need it soon for a job. So they might process your application quicker if you're able to show them an offer letter with a start date.
That being said, I'm not sure of their definition of "quicker". They sent me a temporary ATPL within three weeks of applying.
