Hello all,
I’m a fresh CPL and got a Winnipeg trip planned soon where I'll be in town for 2 and a half days. I've done some research into the operators there that I'm interested in.
I was just wondering if that is enough time and what to expect? Also should I let them know of my arrival in advance?
Thanks!
Winnipeg road trip

Re: Winnipeg road trip
Nope. Show up at the door with resume in hand. Ask to talk to chief pilot and or a delegate. If they are busy, ask if you can leave your resume and cover letter with a Human Resources Rep. you can kill half of the operators in Manitoba in an afternoon.
I admire your strategy. Putting a face to the resume goes a long way.

It's enough time to meet people, but make sure you're able to stay indefinitely if necessary or be able to get back on short notice. Follow up interviews if you make a good impression might sometimes take a few days to organize.
As an AvCanada discussion grows longer:
-the probability of 'entitlement' being mentioned, approaches 1
-one will be accused of using bad airmanship
