Commercial Pilot | Group 1 IFR | IATRA | 346 TT / 143 PIC | Air Canada Ramp Experience

Post by Brettsky »

Hello,

My name is Michael Brett, and I’m a recently licensed Commercial Pilot based in Mississauga, ON. I completed all of my training at Brampton Flight Centre, earning my CPL with a Group 1 Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, and IATRA. I also hold a valid RAIC (Purple).

In addition to my flight training, I’ve been working as a Ramp Station Attendant with Air Canada at Pearson (YYZ) since 2022, where I’ve gained hands-on experience with safety SOPs, coordinating aircraft arrivals and departures, and working within high-tempo ground operations. This role has helped develop my safety mindset, CRM skills, and respect for operational discipline. All of these are qualities I look forward to bringing into a flight crew environment.

While I have a strong interest in flying in Eastern or Western Canada, I’m open to any opportunity that allows me to grow in this industry—wherever it may be.
