YVR Learjet 31A Captain - Helijet International

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate Learjet 31A/ER aircraft for private charters and corporate flights in accordance with the COM, SOPs, AFM and other company policies.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, including weather analysis, route selection, and fuel calculations.
• Ensure strict adherence to all aviation regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
• Maintain effective communication with air traffic control, ground personnel, customers and Company operations team.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. Foster a positive and professional image for the company through interactions with clients.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
• Minimum of 2500 hours total flight time, with 500 hours Jet or 250 hours Jet PIC or 500 hours PIC on commuter/transport category turbo-prop.
• Group 1 Instrument Rating.
• Valid Canadian Category 1 Medical certificate.
• Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
• Demonstrate an excellent command of English, both oral and written.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Must successfully complete all Company interviews, training, and examinations.
• Live within 90 minutes of CYVR (Vancouver International Airport).
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Starting salary:$130,000/yr

The following starting premiums will be added based on experience:
+$10,000/yr for 500 hours JPIC or 1,000 hours Jet
+$10,000/yr for 4,000 hours total time

• Helijet guest passes to share with family and friends for use on Helijet’s scheduled helicopter airline services.
• Travel privileges with Air North, Alaska Airlines, Central Mountain Air, Harbour Air, Pacific Coastal and Westjet for employees, their spouse, dependent children and employees’ parents.
