I like the Canadian Commercial Pilot Answer Guide by John Kaiser (Aviation Publishers Co.) and recommended it to all my students when I was instructing.

It contains about 500 questions very similar to what you get on the real exam, and references where to find the answers in books that you already should have - i.e. the AIM, TC's Flight Training Manual, the From the Ground Up, and others.

Use in conjunction with the TC Study and Reference Guide.

Good luck!

I agree. This is your best choice. I used it in conjunction with a self administered ground school.

Could also check out the Instrument Procedures Manual - just for a couple of questions, especially if you plan on getting your instrument rating in the future.

I agree with all of the above. Canadian Commercial Pilot Answer Guide is a fantastic resource. I used it for both my Commercial and Instructor writtens. Some of the questions in it appear almost word-for-word on the TC exams. Well worth the money and a much more useful study tool than C*****e, which are overpriced.

I'm a fan of the Commercial Pilot Answer Guide. I'm pretty sure if I didn't use it, I would have failed the written test. But that's just me.

If you can get 80-90 percent on all of the sections, you're in GREAT shape for the real test.

Good luck!
