The Canso at Sitidgi Lake in NT.

Post by studmuffin »

There is a pic of a Canso that dug a wingtip in 02 at Sitidgi Lake. It looks like an X Newfie gov't machine, but I can't pick out the registration. Anyone know the registration, and if she's still flying? I flew them back in the 70's and still have a fondness for the old birds.

Thanks

I think that Canso flipped over during summer of 2002. I remember going up to Inuvik on the C46 August or September that year to help load up the salvaged parts and bring them back to ZF.
