Views on Workopolis?

Post by South Of 60 »

Just wondering how many views most people had when they got the call?? I just updated yesterday and I already have five views. Is that the norm?

Thanks in advance!

My buddy had 6 views, he even got a call from someone wanting him to sell office supplies, and stationary.

I am not sure if that is the right measuring stick or not. More than a couple of views should indicate that someone that needs to see it before you get called has it on their desk.

It was better when we faxed resumes, or stapled 'em to the top of a pizza box and sent it to the CP. Ahhh the glory days of aviation.

This has been discussed... You can set your prefrences for Jazz only to view your resume, and that would sort out your question in regards to how many actual views you have.

FYI, I made mine only viewable by Jazz and I got called within a week of posting my resume with only 1 view. Had to turn them down as I had just taken something far more suitable for me.

2 views forever. Updated/re-applied every once in awhile. Was called for interview. Total increased to 8 views between the call and the interview. Noticed during interview that Workopolis profile (resume & coverletter) was infront of at least one interviewer. Questions asked re: information contained in said profile. (Note: Remember to look at Workopolis profile prior to interview)

I cannot find workopolis on the Air Canada site. Is it there? If so, how do I access it. I signed up with Workopolis on the Westjet site. Are they the same?

marquisman: AC uses their own system, it is Westjet and Jazz that use workopolis.

See here for Jazz.

Or check here for Westjet.
