Great short field performance. Skidding sideways in snow is better than reverse.

It looked like a lousy landing from the start, He didn't even align it with the runway !! I would have gone around.

Okay I just watched it again. There is no transition or flare at all. He glided like a greased anvil right onto the ice surface. There doesn't appear to be any control inputs at all.

He landed with the right main in the snowbank... didn't matter if he flared or not the outcome would have been the same.
