Looking for Info - Bomber crash northern ontario
I remember reading an article about an air crash in northern ontario that happened many many years ago. Apparently it was some type of american military bomber that crashed in the vacinity of a logging camp in northern ontario somewhere around the Thunder bay , Dorion , nipigon areas...i remember reading that the pilot or pilots ejected safely and were picked up by camp workers that witnessed the accident? Does anyone know where i can find info on this....Just curious to read what it was all about.
thanks.
thanks.

Sorry thats all I know. But if you ask some of the rotor guys from Timmins or Hearst I am sure they know where it is.I know that a few have landed there and looked over what was left.Which I don't think there would be much to see anymore.

According to my one down the road neighbors who is a WW2 vet, there's a Lancaster in the bottom of the lake beside my Dad's house , 20 km north west of Cochrane. Don't know of anyone who has actually gone diving to confirm though.
