every 3 weeks, alternating class size of 8 and 10. Approx 100 new hires next yr and 200 for 2009 with current deliveries that are known as of today. Should add that the class frequency or dates aren't available yet for 2008. hope this helps. This is current info from the last time I made it into the office just over a week ago.
Actually, the question is:
Will they lower their minimums?
100 pilots in 2008, 200 in 2009. That is a lot. FLightlevels, you wrote there are 2000 qualified applicants in the system.
Airline pilot central reports that there is 1455 pilots at jazz. ok, that makes 545 to go. 84 at cma, about 170 at georgian .. still counting, ok i am just joking..... i am not sure that every pilot at jazz has applied at wesjet but you never know...
Knowing the state of the industry, every company is struggling to find pilots.
Are you sure there is 2000 "qualified" applicants? Applicants for sure, qualified i would like to see.
