Yes, I did a search first.

I know about Sudbury A. but am wondering if anyone knows of any other places that rental float planes - Ontario only please.

Renter is float endorsed.

Thanks Gents.

There's these guys in North Bay.

I'm pretty sure you gotta have 10 hours with them before they'll let ya leave their lake though. Kinda the same as Sudbury Aviation.

Try the Dryden Flying Club. They have a PA-12 they rent to the members.

185 bucks for a 172 on floats, 115 for a 152 on wheels, ouch, I hope they can at least provide the lube free of charge :goodman:

The sad part about that, is thats not too high for a 172 on floats.... seeing it's hard to find a 172 on wheels for less then $130/hr. now a days.

Future Air in Bradford/Holland Landing. Just 45 minutes north of Toronto. 172 on Cap 2000. 160 horses with Powerflow Exhaust. Really nice performer. still a 172. 2 Seater at best but great plane to fly. and they will rent when demonstrated compitencey. Seems to be a well kept secret! They'll do ratings as well.

Their float pilot/ins is a real nice guy, and it's not too far from the city.
