Well, its not big yet, its very tiny!

The First AvCanada Baby!

Well, other than Haza's dozens of "unofficial" Avcanada babies.

Here's our little "critter" (we don't want to know yet) at 18 weeks! Baby and mother are both doing very well!

The baby is due January 15th, right in the middle of instructing slow season, so I can take plenty of time off! :lol:

We wanted to share this with all of you as soon as we knew and could show you. This picture was taken early this afternoon at Samantha's scheduled ultrasound.

Congratulations to Hazatude for becoming an unofficial Uncle!

Boy, the ultrasounds have come a long way since I was in the baby-making business 20 odd years ago. Back then it was just a smudgy blur that could just have easily been a picture taken through the bottom of a beer glass.

No wait, that was how it all started.

I'll explain it all to you someday, Cat. It's not that complicated. Even pilots can get the hang of it without using their GPS!

It's like landing a plane- you gotta have a good approach and even if everything is looking just right, you could still crash and burn at any time.
