Asking a pilot about what he thinks of Transport Canada, is like asking a fire hydrant what does he think about dogs.

I don't know, if security people down there are anything like some of the ones I've seen. "Why does the wand beep in this spot?" "Oh, that's where the bullet hit me." Depends on which detectors. A catsa supervisor (guy with red stripe) told me that certain metal detectors have diffrent levels of sensitivity.
For EX: at check point A @ YUL. Detector #1 is the most sensitive. It would always detect the pin inside my shoe. Meanwhile #3,4,5,6 rarely....
50/50 on #2.
