Since he was shot in a domestic dispute, I don't think he wanted to get to his final destination so much as he wanted to get as far as possible away from the woman that shot him. He's not tough, he's running scared!

I don't know, if security people down there are anything like some of the ones I've seen. "Why does the wand beep in this spot?" "Oh, that's where the bullet hit me." "Ok, do you have any fluids over one ounce?"

if the guy was clean of all metals except 1 bullet, I doubt he'd set it off

It seems to depend on how they've got the things set; I've set off the metal detectors with nothing more than the metal on my levis and at other times walked right on by.

Depends on which detectors. A catsa supervisor (guy with red stripe) told me that certain metal detectors have diffrent levels of sensitivity.

For EX: at check point A @ YUL. Detector #1 is the most sensitive. It would always detect the pin inside my shoe. Meanwhile #3,4,5,6 rarely....
50/50 on #2.
