Hello everybody,

I'm starting IFR training in yvr next month and saw that they are implementing CAATS next may, right in the middle of my training.

Should i be expecting to have my training stopped for a bit??

And for how long??

You're reporting at the ACC in December to start training, and they're putting CAATS in in May? I'd say they'll probably have alot of the problems worked out by the time you hit the floor, which won't be in May.

its not the floor i'm worried about, thats going to be about the time all the trainees are in the sims.

i've heard of delays because of all the other guys retraining in the sim for the new systems

Yup, it sucks!

Well you won't be using the same sim likely for the first 3 months of your training.

It has to happen sooner or later!
