2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
Spit out a number.... See if it's accurate by the end of the year.
I'm going to take a stab and say around 450.

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
I'd love to max out at 1200 ... but with 3 FO's, 1 Capt, and 1 plane at our base right now that's not going to happen.
Hopefully the company has some plan to bring in more work, a second skipper, and another plane in the new year.
Based on past trends, I'm guessing an average of 45-50 hours per month which means for 2008, a range of 540-600 hours.
More is better, but as long as I can get those hours in; I won't have to rewrite the AA's in 2009.

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
As few as I can get away with. I think I can keep it from going much over 350. That would be a good year.
Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
Same as the last 10 years. I'll log 0, but probably fly 600 or so.

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
Well it all depends on how many folks we lose, but I'd still venture a guess at 1000 hours.

0. I'm retired.

The best I ever did was in 1972, 1136.6, on everything from the 185 to the Queen Air to the DC-3.I'd love to max out at 1200 ...

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
The most I ever did in one day was 19.1 hours non stop....1968...in an Austin Airways PBY.
This year I might get 50 to 100 ...depends on a lot of things..

He who wins is not he who logs the most, but, he who logs the least, and gets the biggest cheque.

We left Povungnituk to ferry fuel for two Bell 206's being ferried to Coral Harbour...the weather went to hell and we stayed airborne for all that time trying to stay near the helicopters...we finally had to go to Coral because we were running out of fuel. I'm not going to tell you what the weather was at Coral Harbour when we arrived you would not sleep tonight.

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
An even 500 would be just peachy for me. I only work 4 months out of the year!

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
100hrs in the Pawnee + 50-75hrs C180 float or 250-300 more on the Pawnee.
Depends on the choice I take.

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
As little as possible. I don't really need to log
any more time straight & level. I don't think I
am being too immodest when I say that after
over three decades of flying, I think I have the
"straight & level" thing pretty well sorted out.

As little as possible.
Most likely 250Hrs of playing with the FMS at Flight Level Something Something in exchange for a very decent pay check...
And roughly 75-100 hrs of severe acro/formation/formation acro in the CJ6A in exchange for a hefty fuel bill...
I'll let you guys guess which makes me happier

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
200-300 hrs I suspect. I originally thought less but now I'm suddenly headed to the sandbox and will likely fly 70-80 this month alone.

Re: 2008 - How Many Hours Will You Log?
I'd like to do 250.
Most likely 15-20 a month starting in Mayish.
