A colleague is asking which one is better for the Initial Multi IFR.
Any opinions or suggestions?

Well, the world of aviation an instrument flying is all moving towards use of the GPS. I would suggest that he go to a school that has an aircraft with a certified GPS. In springbank that includes Fly Right and Springbank Air Training College. I know that morgan does not have GPS's in their aircraft, and last time I checked, the Club did not have a certified GPS either (but look into it, they may have done some upgrades).

I like the Seneca much better than the Seminole, (the training would be on an aircraft that is more likely to be used in a commercial operation), so for that reason I would choose SATC.

Morgan Air has the advantage of being right at CYYC. And that helps with the fast radio chatter, and quick approaches.

Call them....the instructors can tell you the advantages and disadvantages.

I agree with you. It seems to me that you will learn more at the international than Springbank when your doing a rating that is going to lead into a commercial job. Good luck getting flights/instructors booked at the Club or SATC! I'm not sure how Morgan is.
