They fly out of Springbank and I doubt they have any transport out there. They fly 172's... not sure about the multi/ifr. Last year I heard it was quite competitive not sure about this year. The school part and flying part is independent meaning that you have 9-5 in school and have to find a time to fly. After every semester you have to be completed up to X to go on. Subjects covered http://business.mtroyal.ca/aviation/curriculum.php

Anything helpful.... you may get into Jazz after graduation! ... speaking of... any updates about that?

Intake is September 1st of each year.
Need a PPL by September 1st.
First Year consists of Night Rating and Commercial Written and Commercial Flight Test.
Second Year consists of Multi Rating and Multi IFR.
Graduate with 200-250 hours including your hours from your PPL.
Well equipped C172's for single stuff. Grumman GA-7 Cougars for the Multi Stuff. They now have an arrow for some of the instrument stuff and transition to the twin. makes your multi a bit cheaper.

Great courses you pay for but would not get anywhere else suchs as Engines and Airframes, Human Factors, a year of Meteorology. All taught by meteorologists, airline pilots and AME's.

Jazz award is still taking place so you do have a chance at an interview with jazz upon graduation among numerous other scholorships.

biggest highlight of the program is the thousands of other mount royal grads in the industry and the networking oppurtunities.

Here is a video about the program

They also have a really nice simulator on the main campus. I walk by it all the time and just wish i could go in and fire it up. I know a couple guys who took this program and enjoyed it alot. You have the opportunity to create some real life long friendships since you are in the same classes with the same people for 2 years. The only real draw back is of course paying for the thing, you don't really have a lot of time to work outside of the program.

I think everything has pretty much been covered above.
Only thing I might add is as far as transportation goes you more or less need a car to make the program work. The airport is about a 20 - 30min drive from the campus (depending on traffic) and car is the only way to get to the airport.
