Seeing as you are at '5', and that he will be at '10', and you are at least twice as good as him (or at least, so your posts would have us believe) we'll ignore him, just as we ignore you!
Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?

Yeh, I do yap far to much here no doubt about it.
But what the hell I'm sort of retired and miss the fellowship of my friends in aviation.
S&J I have an idea.
Why don't you start a poll on who has the best quality in our posts, just you V.S. me?
I'll give you the victoryabout the quantity part because I really do seem to have gone overboard in that catagory.
So how about you start a quality poll and lets see what all the grunts out there have to say?
Such a deal S&J, don't pass this one up.

This reminds me of a story of the Old Bull (Cat) and the young bull(S&J) looking over a field of cows from up top a hill. The young Bull (S&J ) says to the old bull (Cat) "let's run down to the field and have us one of those cows" but wise old (Cat) says "Let's walk down there and have them all."
Oh man, here we go again.

At least the 70± year-old coot can spell & type with reasonable acumen. There are a lot of posters in this Forum who still have yet to graduate to grade 9-level spelling, grammar, and syntax.
It's actually embarrassing to think that we pride ourselves on our "equivalent-to-University-Degree" education and experience, yet be inundated with the mindless drivel and painful spelling errors in every topic. I hope there aren't too many pPruNers reading our board, as they will be cringing and scowling at our lack of technical literacy...not to mention the ignorant posts that grace its pages.
At least old . writes coherently and (generally) articulately, and speaks with a certain level of authority on the subjects he contributes.
I encourage you to look at the positive elements of Cat Driver...you'll note he doesn't use the more colloquial handle, "PIG-BOAT driver"!

" The 70 plus or minus year old coot "
Thanks a lot, I was hoping to attract some of the fairer of the opposite sex by posting with some class...now you have gone and ruined my chances of some extra activity.

That story is very true to life BANDAID, it would be more accurate if the old bull complained about transport on a daily basis to the point where people want to curl up and die.bandaid wrote: The young Bull (S&J ) says to the old bull (Cat) "let's run down to the field and have us one of those cows" but wise old (Cat) says "Let's walk down there and have them all."
Oh man, here we go again.
Oh yea and if the young bull liked little boys, then you've got both of these meatheads covered.

Well the truth is I really don't care what some of these guys say or think because I already have done everything I wanted to do in aviation....my biggest problem now is trying to quit.

G. H. :
Yeh, I'm home for the winter and building my PA11, just finished welding in the last pieces of tube in the airframe to replace some rusted stuff.
It is interesting to go back and read the "content "of some of these smart assed posters who take shots at others.

PA-11 - excellent. I never flew tailwheel. Which engine do you have for it?
Here's a related link, if you don't know of it already.

I'm building it under the amateur built catagory and it will be on amphibious floats with a Contenintal 0-200A engine.
I used to use Cubs in the Ag. business and the PA11 on floats was my favourite.
