Dear JAZZ letter

Post by dashx »

Thank you for the time you made available to meet with us regarding the Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic position based in Toronto, ON.

Your qualifications and experience were certainly impressive; however, we are sorry that we are unable to offer you the position for which you recently interviewed. We will be selecting another person who has the type of experience we feel is necessary for the position.

We thank you for your time and good luck in your job search.

Human Resources
I want to thank Jazz for rejecting me back in 2006.

I'd still be working nights and making less money.

Judging by the fact that you have made two posts regarding JAZZ in a very short period of time makes me wonder how happy you really are. Let's face it, if it did not bother you, you wouldn't be saying anything at all because life would be good and JAZZ would be a non issue. What happened ACE, you get fired? Did a JAZZ captain f&*k your wife? Why so upset with a company that told you to PFO 2 years ago?

Your toughguy talk on here doesn't wash! Most divorced people that still hate their spouses are still in love with them. You can tell when someone is over thier spouse when they simply don't give shit. I would bet 50.00$ that you are still pissed and coming onto this forum and spouting off is the only way you can make yourself feel better for being told that you suck and that some other chump is better than you.

Gotta hand it to interviewers, they made a good choice in your case!

Life is good. In fact it's very good. I have friends at Jazz YYZ so I am familiar with what I am missing out on.

Yes they did. Did I not say thank you? Was that "tough guy" talk?

And what's wrong with the other post I made? You sign a deal you stick with it. Don't be a suck and try to weasel your way out of it.

How hard is it to go to your DFO or chief pilot and talk?

Wow, what a response there traf, whats YOUR problem????

I can tell your rgt now based on very good information that the AC world which includes Jazz will have some pain in the near future--Jazz for example does not have to pay landing fees and FUEL which is going through the roof--and that if oil stays where it is or goes higher, AC will have no option but to shrink jazz

This would not just make this fellow work ngts--but probably be laid off !!!

cheers !

Our block hours at Jazz will definitely shrink in the next bit. Fleet size has to remain the same though.

My problem is people such as dashx spouting off about Jazz when they don't even work here. I somehow doubt that his intent was to simply come on here and thank Jazz for not hiring him. His post in another thread was putting down Jazz planes and their Captain's. Soon as someone calls him on it, he plays the victim? PULLEASE!!!!!!

Don't fall for it piggy.

And yes, Jazz is going to get take it in the butt soon. AC will more than likely get into trouble, maybe even file for CCAA again. At that point, the CPA will more than likely be opened up for renogotiations. You can say you heard it here!

Having worked on a few of their 8's lately and having to deal with a few of their "captains" I wish you good luck
.

Show me the humour and irony in this post.

As for your "john Deer" letter, where is the irony? Sounds to me like you have been listening to Allanis Morisette too much. Her song "IRONIC" is actually not ironic at all. If you really listen to it, the song is about shitty luck and non of her lyrics have irony in them at all.

Would that be irony? A song about irony that really has no irony in it?

One topic: pilot/training bond

Other topic: maintenance

Which topic do you want to attack me on?

Make up your mind and stick to it.

The smart thing for AC to do in the next while is to allow Jazz to get rid of the old 100's/200's and replace them with the more economical 705's. That would definitely help them through the tough times ahead. Add more seats, as well the price per seat cost would actually go down. Jazz can do it cheaper, but the unfortunate thing for the people of Jazz, ACPA has the final say...not AC.

...and I'm not saying this is right...the race to the bottom...but it is a fact that jazz can do it cheaper (wages, leases, etc.). It's just ACPA is very strong leaving AC with not many options.

I found Dashx's comments rather humourous. I hung up my AC PFO letter above my computer so I look at it everyday. I will hang up my acceptance letter from NASA for Shuttle Commander next to it. :D :D
