WESTEX Contracts
Any word yet who's covering for Westex on the cargo and medivac?
North Caribou, Nt Air, Global, all I understand have a 30 day max commitment till Westex either restructures or dies.
The average pilot, despite the somewhat swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring.
These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

Restructure? The guys will be lucky if he has a pair of socks left when the creditors are done cleaning out his house!
North Caribou Medevac........must have be a non-life threatening patient.
-broken finger
-hang nail
-sneezing
THEY ARE ALWAYS MEDEVAC, DOESN'T MATTER, GET OUT OF THEIR
WAY. BUT I GUESS THAT'S STANDARD ALBERTA OPS. TOO!

There has always been this debate about filing medevac and if the patient needs priority or not. Besides that fact, if you do not file medevac, you get a nice bill in the mail from NAVCANADA. Medevac's are exempt of the NAVCAN fees hence ALL planes filing MEDEVAC regardless of what the patient condition.
