How long have you waited for paperwork to be done (PPL etc.)
For example, from the time you passed your PPL flight test to the time you had your licence in hand.
From the date you finished your night rating to the date you received your licence back with the rating on it.
Thanks.

night rating was 3 weeks sitting in the flight school waiting to get signed off. Another 3 for the actual license from transport.

If you mean the time from submitting paperwork to TC to receiving a new or upgraded license back from TC - about 2 to 2.5 months.

Yep, mine took over three months actually. TC had apparently sent a letter to the flight school and it somehow got lost... When they told me it would take another couple of weeks to process my application once TC received that response. I then spoke to someone there and expressed my dissatisfaction and I magically received my PPL in the mail two days later.light chop wrote:If you mean the time from submitting paperwork to TC to receiving a new or upgraded license back from TC - about 2 to 2.5 months.
Makes you wonder why everything takes so long at TC. Do you have to call and give someone a hard time to get some decent service?
Remember I think the temporary signed by the examiner is legal for three months only (if I remember correctly)

you're right, it's only valid for 3 months.

I waited 4 months for TC to process my class 3 instructor rating upgrade then another 2 weeks to receive my paper, sent to a way wrong address too, luckily same postal code and a code postman
