I am looking for someone in Southwest Ontario who would be willing to rent out their IFR cert twin engine aircraft so that I could use it to build MIFR experience. I know how unwilling people are to do this, however if you have a twin that sits on the ground more than you would like, and you would be willing to meet to discuss it, you might change your mind.

If you can go across borders down to Florida there is Ari Ben Aviator, not a great school but they have 15+ BE76's that are used all night for MIFR time building. Last time I checked it was about $100 an hour for it.

With how many PICs on board?

On another note i wouldn't ever fly there aircraft again, but there time building package was pretty good.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Peninsulair.... but I believe that their seminole is still offline for engine work. Call them to make sure 905.679.4124

Only half the hours you fly there count, since it is half safety pilot time. 200$ + accomodations + extra fees + the hasle of verifying your license = not worth.

Beware! They also fly their airplane sometimes 16hrs a day....I am not joking you! There are many stories of engine failures on their BE76 fleet.

Yeah there fleet does suck but its good experience I had at least 2 engine issues and 1 radio failure in IMC It's a learning experience though.

Nope...doesn't count. There are no loops holes such as FAR 91.109 which permits two pilots to log PIC at the same time, so long as one is under the hood in vmc conditions.

Did you go to Ari-Ben? I was going to visit them last month, but decided to find multi time for free instead.

I did temporarily, they threw me out after my instructor left and they had no one to replace him with. Plus they had a load of Indian's coming in to replace the hard working Europeans and Americans.

Oh well there loss really.
