While I was taxiing to the ramp today the ground controller told another aircraft that they had an Air Canada A 320 on final with a fire in the cockpit. The controller actually used the term 'fire' and not smoke.
The emergency equipment was in position and the A320 landed on Runway 20 and came to a full stop on the runway. I was impressed on how fast the emergency vehicles made it into position.
No smoke was observed from my vantage point and no emergency evacuation took place.
Does anyone else have any more info on what happened?

George Foreman was grillin some chicken in row 36 and it got away on em.
He ate the fryers by the time they landed so no smoke was observed.
