The new Canjet v3.0/Anti-ice is going on a boeing!

:D Well after 8 years ramping/flying medevacs/charters/skeds/corporate Anti-ice is going to the Airlines.

Not sure how I'll like it but the boeing 737-800 is definately one heck of a machine!

I might just be drinking the east coast kool-aid (or is it screech  ) but the future looks bright for Canjet, and all vacation charter airlines. We'll be running multiple -800's this year and potentially near double digits next winter. I have only good things to say so far. Very friendly helpfull and personal company...and they fly the interviewee out for the interview at no cost (hotel inc.) Very nice to be known by name.

I just wanted to spread the joy.

Cheers

As a former employee the CP and DFO are top notch guys. They run a safe airline. The Union will make everything else a bit better.

Good Luck

glad to see some positive comments, I hope you're right about the '09 charter season. They way things are looking to me, this winter might be tougher than the last few. Here's for hoping!

Congratulations!

Both for you and the news on CanJet.

Always great to hear good things about CanJet, of all the airlines I worked for/did work for years back CanJet was by far my favourite.

The above comments have reinforced my decision to come. Thanks for the info everyone. Now how about some tips for a NG newbie!! :?: (lol, although I guess that deserves it's own thread)

My question is, if Transat get small aircrafts, like the rumor is calling for, will Canjet survive? Is most of the work being done by Canjet for Transat?

Certainly wish them well with this positive news as they carved out a specific market. However, I will continue with Air Canada for my "southerly beach " vacations

From a lowly rampie bumping your head on a beaver strut (MXS i believe) and falling in the lake to pushing a button for coffee. Congrats!!

I guess it was screech afterall. Good luck with the new job, but as many ex C3/Royal/Air Club/Jetsgo/Harmony/Zoom employees will surely tell you, don't rush right out and buy a house.

I moved myself and family halfway across the country for a great job. The company was gone in less than a year.....
