I'm currently in the South African Air Force and have been for the past 8 years. I'm currently looking at doing my training and conversion in Canada. I have 800 hrs currently and want to know if this will be recognised be Transport Canada towards a CPL.

Are there any flying schools that anyone can recommend at this stage? And what are the current job vacancies in Canada like?

to work in canada in any industries you will need first to be either a legal immigrant or a canadian citizen and that definitively apply to aviation
your licenses will not be of any help
