done school, 300 hours, and working the ramp indefinatly
my life dream/goal has been to be a career pilot. went to college, worked 3 jobs to pay for multi ifr, young, single, can go anywhere. ive worked a few different ramps in a few different places across. nothing but poverty and false hopes, even up north in isolated places. desperate to make to flight line, but how? 100's of resumes, and nothing but offers to pump gas and answer phones. how the heck do rookies get out of this slump. many freinds in the industry are in the same struggle

a float endorsement is less expensive but the timing isn't the best. get a ramp job for an operator that has hired from the ramp in the past like perimeter or buffalo airways etc.

I was in the same position many years ago. I know how it feels to cling to false hopes.
Now that I'm out in Winnipeg, it's really not such a bad place.
I would recommend going in to Perimeter. Good reputable company. They do hire from the ramp. They do not hire from outside so the ramp/office is the only way to get into the cockpit there.

Say, what's that mountain goat doing up here in the mist?
