hello, new to the forum and the aviation industry and wondering if anyone call tell the eye sight standards for large airline companies. The canadian air force recently changed to allow corrective eye surgery and im curious to know if the commercial sector has followed suit. Any information would be great thanks.

The civil side of things has had lower minimums for a while now. You need a category 1 medical, and i believe the requirement for vision is 20/30 corrected or uncorrected, doesnt matter. Check out the TC website.
