I always considered them part of the maritimes. But to tell you the truth I wrote the poll options quickly and with not a lot of thought.

Nope, Maritimes has three provinces....New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Newfoundland and Labrador is part of the four Atlantic Provinces but not part of the three Maritime Provinces.

However it would seem that anyone from Alberta-West believes the entire land mass east of Montreal is "Newfie-Land".

Any attempt to correct these people simply confuses them further.

I've said this in a previous thread but it bears repeating. I had heard that the East Coast people were anxiously waiting for Quebec to seperate so that they would be closer to Toronto
