That I understand ,Nakina Air Service maintenance is top-shelf, nothing left for question.

I have always been very impressed by maintenance executed by Northern Airborne Maintenance in Sioux Lookout.
They are the AMO for a good number of operators in town.

Perhaps I should add which are also best to fly for as well as them having good maintenance track record...thanks

I'll second Northern Airborne in YXL, Jason runs a good shop from the dealings I had with him from 2004-2008.

Jason runs a real tight ship in Sioux. Remember to take your boots off at the door. Not much spent on maintenance in Red Lake, a operator thing not a AMO thing. Nakina and Slate Falls look like they have the cleanest float fleet out there. Personally never worked for either but spent some time wrenching in Jason's shop.

Worked for slate falls, no complaints about maintenance, they have a hangar on the waterfront and pull the 206's and beaver out of the water for inspection, makes everything a little easier.

Jason and the crew at Airborne in YXL are great.
Also Dave, Sil and guys at Lakeland in Fort Frances are a wicked bunch too.

Uh, isn't this actually a requirement per maintenance manuals?Redneck_pilot86 wrote:and pull the 206's and beaver out of the water for inspection, makes everything a little easier.

I think what he/she meant was, they pull there own planes and do inspections right on site.
Unlike numerous others where you have to ferry the plane, than pull it out. than inspect. etc.
