Who is hiring?
Well the economy is in the dumpster lately and aviation jobs are once again hard to come by. Does anyone know of the companies that are hiring?? Anything from Bush pilots to corporate. This time last year a guy with 1000hrs or so didn't have such a rough go for finding work. How times have changed....

sounds like the million dollar question to me... and it's not just for the 1000 hour types either

So I guess I'm not the only one feeling the pinch of the economy and lack of jobs available. Hopefully things turn around this spring/summer but I'm not holding my breath.
The crappy part about all this is that with a lack of jobs and demand for work so high, all that great progress we made last year with salary increases and bonds going from 2 years down to 1 or none at all will disappear. You gotta love this business!

i've heard that CanJet, CargoJet (for the caravan), Jazz, Voyageur and WestJet are interviewing

Superior Airways is hiring?
Im about 200 hours less your total time.. and its rough glad im not the only one feeling the pain! Its bizzare tho, i was attending a weekend groundschool course and basically everyone was saying the industry is still moving at good pace. I don't see it but others obviously do. I was suprised at the how fast things came to a halt.. even in the fall things were still decent.. BIG CHANGE!!! And it seems like we only had a few years if that since 9'/11.. meanwhile others say the industry has been booming for the past 7 years.. so depends on who you talk to i guess..
