Is it true that Regional 1 from Calgary has laid off up to 10 crews?

I'm pretty sure Regional 1 has laid off some people as well.

I don't think anyone from Cariboo has been layed off.

I was chatting with 2 buddies of mine who flew -8s for Reg 1 last night. They both got laid off on Friday. There were others as well.

The price of oil is forcatsed to reach $75 by year end. So it will be go go go in AB when the world economy shows any sign of recovery.

And last year it was predicted to be $200+ in the fall.
I for one think we should all just ignore the speculators, that's how the hype, greed, and problems began last time.
It would be nice if things stabilized in the $75-90 range, but you know once it gets there it will keep going up $3-5 per week until we are back to that breaking point again.
