Why I love Jazz...

Post by CanadianEh »

Many thanks to the FA on AC 8049 from BOS-YOW for the generous snack. She actually gave me the whole can! I was so happy I just had to take a picture!

:D

...Not to mention that both flights were on time and the landings were smooth.

I think the SOP for FA's is that if a passenger asks for the whole can they get it.

I was deadheading from YYZ to YVR one time (first class was full so I was stuck in the back)and the FA walked by and slipped me a note that said "anything you want is free" Of course I ordered a decent amount of food. The a la carte menu isn't bad and the prices are reasonable even if you have to pay.

l certainly don't mind flying with Jazz. Last time l flew from yyz-iah we were delayed leaving Pearson due to a last minute crew swap. 0nce we got going and the fa's started their service, l ordered a rye and coke. Expecting to pay for the drink l had my 6.00$ ready, but the fa then mentioned that the booze was free due to the delay.

lt was great because its the little things that really count. l'm looking forward to my next delay on Jazz :D

Any delay over 30 mins, the booze is free. Just not advertised for obvious reasons. Applys to AC as well.

Where'd you get that info, I wouldn't be telling people that's a policy because as far as I know it's at the discretion of the FA/Crew and I don't think 30 min delay usually qualifies.

I've heard it a policy also, not one you scream over the interphone mind you. Very rationed and discreet, not a boozfest that's for sure.

A policy is 30 mins and your pizza's free, I know for a fact that the fa's don't have to do this if they don't want to. They have the option to comp the bar for various reasons and a 30 min delay would be too common an occurrence to say it's hard and fast policy. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

lt was certainly longer than 30mins. Everyone had boarded up and then they made the announcement that there was no captain. lt was about 30mins before the captain showed up, and about another 40mins before pushback.

Regardless if its a policy or not, it was a nice gesture to all who decided to partake.

PS... Not a full boozefest but pretty close  (not many pax onboard).

Jazz ain’t bad to fly with as a pax. The last few flights I have been on the F/A’s were real cuties – sweet young things for sure. Probably from the belle province and chatty, she thought I could parlez-vous the ding –dong but I was a disappointment there. No ring on her finger but just imagine, some young buck getting a good grind between the sheets. Oh well….. Fond memories for this old goat.
Now if Jazz would unload those CRJ-200s, like I said earlier about trying to piss out a jug of Keith’s red in those airplanes………….

lucky basterd, flew on a AV flight to ottawa, half the flight attendents were male, and on the return flight, ALL of them were guys
found it quite strange to see so many male flight attendants

Actually one of trips was last year , had to go to QX in business from HZ. On the return trip out of QX a few days later(early am departure), this tall ash blonde cutie was the FA. Nice legs, think she saw me sneaking a peek at her ass

I guess Jazz isn't bad to fly on... AC and WJ too... until you fly on an Asian based carrier or Emirates or Etihad, etc., etc. and really find out what service is. Actually, of all Canadian airlines, First Air and Canadian North are the best.

Sorry Jazzers, but you are quite low on the totem pole compared to rest that is out there.

Yes our service does suck most of the time.

You want good service, go to porter. From what I understand, they feed ya and give ya booze all the time.

Plus there FA's are sweet, especially the uniforms.

I guess it helps when you don't have flight attendants that have been at the airline for more than a few years. Is it a size 2 dress they have to fit in or they get fired/not hired. Don't they "age out" as well?

Just a question.

If you're on a DH and you don't get put in J, the a la carte food is free, that's AC system wide.
