YVR Jepp Plates

Post by drifter »

Does anyone know where I can get the Jepp plates for YVR online? They don't need to be current. Tried the search but it brings up lots of resources for american publications.

Thanks

I have yet to find any Jepp plates online, nor do I imagine they are out there.

The TERP's can be found at Airnav.com
A brief google search brought me here, which are CAP plates.

You won't find Jepps for free online, I'm afraid. Just NOAA's and CAP's.

YA free Jepps are hard to come by. lf you know any flight planners or dispatchers you may be able to ask them to print them up for you. There's also a few online programs such as Jeppensen E-Link where if you can obtain an access code you will be able to access pretty much all the plates from every international / regional airport from around the globe. Try checking out their website and you may be able to score a free trial or something...always worth a try.

Good luck,

l would not suggest using anything out of google or wikipedia, unless its simply for plate familiorization/study purposes. The reason for this, as you may already know, those plates that are posted online may not be valid anymore.

Those are old charts. Do they have more current ones? The Approaches are reasonable accurate, but the Arrivals have all totally changed from from those.

Don't rely on out of date charts, but they are good for study if you know the procedures haven't changed much.

Well, I thought they didn't need to be current.

There's also "JeppView" software that has been floating around the torrent sites. My friend gets the updates for it off the piratebay and he says sometimes they would upload even the current cycle.
