DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINKS!!!

Due to Avcanada's new filter protocol by the moderators, new users like "profilicus" is attempting to circumnavigate our sterile environment with harmful virus scripts through the method of private messages.

DO NOT CLINK ON THE LINKS...simply placing the curser will indicate where the link is going to and if clicked onto WILL harm your computer and may penetrate and compromise Avcanada in the worst case scenario.

I don't have that option of turning off the global PM feature. Only Joe can do that. I'll wait for him to get online and let him deal with it. I'm not sure if it was just an attack towards me by "Crackers/Spammers" because their attempts have been thwarted as of late with regards to spamming with some simple protocols behind the scenes that members here have not been privee too. It seems to have kept some simple spammers out.

Either way, whether here or elsewhere, I suggest a strong practice of "checking" link paths before clicking onto them by placing the curser over the link and reading IF it is the actual link it says it's going to. Also, a general practice I apply for myself is the NEW user check...even IF they have been ok'd by us to start posting...I would be cautious of ANY new user (low amount of posts) placing a link in a thread.

Anyway, we'll let Joe decide IF this is a trend in the PM's or if it is an isolated thing. Perhaps Joe will disable the PM feature for new users for the first 100 posts of any new member.

Until then, be prudent.

One more thing...IF crackers/spammers have been sending anyone here PM's to suspicious links, kind make mention of it here to meter if this is a new trend.

Yes go ahead and delete it by clicking on the on the bottom right hand corner (I believe) of the private message page.
