Wondering if anyone knows how to convert your license to australian and what the odds are of getting a bush job out there are or dropping jumpers. I have some pc12 time right seat. Any insight would be awesome.

Thanks CB

Hi CollegeBoy,

I did convert my license few years back. First, you have to go there.. You can self-study and then challenge the air rules part of the exam. Exams are held once a month maybe more in big city. Than you have to get your medical. Full exams again. Than you need to do a flight test, a full commercial one (3 hours). Prior to be able to do the flight test you will need a recommendation. The test is on airplane TAS of 200 kt (I think), retractable gear and constant speed.

After that you will have an australian license.
Now the job, you need a visa. Good luck, I was on travel-work visa, meaning you need to change job every 3 months.

Good luck
