Hi
To maximize my job search efficiency, I have always wondered about the aviation employment agency option. Unfortunately, I do not know of many off hand.
Antipersonnel is just one that I know of.
Can anyone give me some names of hiring agency's that find pilots for airlines around the world.
I should also mention, that I do not have any jet time. 1500 multi FO is my experience level.
Have a nice Victoria day weekend.

Re: Employment agencies for Aviation
What I'm currently trying it's not really the same as what you mentioned but pretty close so I'll share.
After I couldn't find a job in my home country and haven't flown for about six months I am reconsidering going back to Canada where I did my flight training, country from which I also have citizenship. I found this company here in Chile called ForeignJobs - It's a Canadian company located here where they offer job positions for professionals in architecture, agronomy, forestry engineering and a bunch of other professions in the medicine and tourism insdustries. The idea is to give these professionals the chance of performing their profession for a year or two in a company in Canada. It is a travel and work deal.
I went there about a month ago and talked with someone who understood I strictly wanted a job in aviation, even if it was a ramp position. I haven't got an answer yet but I sent her an email with lots and lots of aviation companies throughout Canada along with the location, contact number, chief pilot (if I knew the name), etc. I even added which companies would likely hire me or not based on my experience and also added which companies would likely hire anytime soon. It is a long list and they have never represented any candidate for this kind of profession so she is making first time contacts with these aviation companies. Basically she is calling them and talks to them about ForeignJobs and offers me as an applicant. They are pretty much sponsoring me. The only update I've had so far is that some of the aviation companies have asked ForeignJobs for some documents proving and explaining who they are and what they do. So it might take longer than expected.
The idea I tried this is so I get a certain guarantee for a job BEFORE I go back to Canada.
I should be getting a reply soon.

Job placement agencies make their money by finding skilled employees for employers who are having a hard time locating employees themselves.
As every aviation employeer is swamped with resumes right now I doubt they are going to pay a finders fee to a placement agency.
Even when times were good there wasn't a need.
It's a legitimate question. The answer is no. You might find one or two companies willing to take your resume and even your money to assist you with getting a job but be warry they are most likely a scam.
I've paid to post my resume on a couple of aviation sites and I can tell you I have not gotten one bite from them.

Re: Employment agencies for Aviation
Unless operators are desperate they will not use an agency with a pile of resumes in front of them . These days there are so many pilots available that it is not rocket science . If they are desperate these days it must be for a reason ,low low pay and a crappy company .
Even when there were no pilots to be had one could not squeak a Quarter out of them . Except perhaps for the big airline heavy Iron seats + 120 k doesn't seem to work out here.
Pilots seek their own work , allways have and will undercut their grandpa for slot.
