What's up with Transwest??

They've run their ad for a beaver pilot three times that I've noticed and I haven't been watching that closely.

I know someone who sent in an application, he didn't have a 1000hrs on type but he seemed relatively qualified and he never even got a phone call.

I assume they must have got some people with the masive hours they are looking for so what's the deal are they just not offering a wage to match the experience they are demanding?

Just seems odd that they have to keep running their ad in this ecconomy with so many out of work pilots.

Did he send it to the right person ?e mail it directly to the chief pilot/ops manager
A lot of resumes never get passed the pilots working dispatch

He says he sent it to the HR e-mail address they have listed on their website. . .

I have 1500 multi on type and they never sent me a response either. I am wondering the same thing...

5800 hrs, 3100 floats, ATPL,Current IFR, Capt on Transport A/C...,Turbine command time, I never heard from them either,,Oh well, thought it was just me.....LOL

Consider yourself lucky if they didnt call........they are looking for a pushover! If you have quality experience you are not what they are looking for....
