Heard that one can drop a roll out the window, apparently it will fall down like a long streamer. The goal here is to fly by and slice it with your wing as many times as possible. I thought it sounded a bit strange, but makes sense too..

Anyone hear of this?

Its actually a rather fun game. Just make sure to give your self a floor that you will not descend below. Grab the loose end and throw the roll end out... Let it roll away. Use a low power setting for that part.

Another fun one is balloon busting.

Why waste good TP. One should use it for what its intended for prior to throwing out of an aircraft. Be sure to double up on them chimichanga's with extra Franks red hot.

Saw it done years ago near Pit Meadows... looks pretty cool from the ground the stream shows up well.

On that note, imagine the guy who crashes while trying this and the kind of thread it would generate on this forum.

602.23 No person shall create a hazard to persons or property on the surface by dropping an object from an aircraft in flight.

However, I 'bend' this one quite regularly while dispersing creamates, dropping adding machine tape (to mark forest fires), apple cores and banana peels, barf bags (full ones make me sick), and the occasional flour bomb.

I wonder if you got one of them huge stadium style rolls how long a line it would make, lol have to tag team it with a wingman!

That's very subjective.

For the legal definition, you need to contact the Tribunal
and ask them for precedents in respect of CAR 602.23.

Transport may or may not pay any attention to the
legal precedents, depending upon whether or not it
supports their objectives in any particular circumstances.

Some CARs for Dummies books translate 602.23 as: "don't drop objects that will create a hazard."

However, more accurately it is: "Do not create a hazard by dropping anything from an aircraft."

It is written this way specifically so that they have precedent to lay charges should something most people wouldn't think as hazardous be dropped from an aircraft.


Try dropping some 'harmless" anti-government leaflets over Parliament Hill. I'm sure you would never be allowed to fly in Canada again.

I'm probably never going to pass it but after dropping in on Doc Adams to ask about the likely hood of getting a medical. Because he had a slow morning I ended up taking the full exam and EKG.

I wandered across the road and got 39 of the 50 PSTAR questions right. I'm embarassed but I guess I should try harder to memorize how long you should wait after giving blood and how long a Cat 3 lasts for you young people.

I won't be taking up a roll of toilet paper but I'm scheduled to hang out with an old friend C-GQCU for an hour or so next week on Thursday, it'll be a three some since I'm still not current.

Be careful... They could mistake the toilet paper with anthrax or something...
