Chataqua evacuation in YYZ?????

Post by joe to go »

We were on approach to RWY 05 in YYZ on June 17th around 930pm and heard a Chataqua (RJ?) on approach to 06L declare an emergency, something about smoke in the airplane. you could tell that they were sucking Oxygen. Once we landed and were taxiing in, we heard a ground controller tell a CFS vehicle that they were evacuating on the Runway. But the next two days, there was absolutely nothing in the paper about it. Anyone know what happened??
