I wonder if he/she was the one who sent me those TC internal documents that helped me corner Preuss and Nowzek?

It's a bit naive to believe that we are the only ones who read/contribute to this 'Public site'.
Regardless of Avatars what you put on this site is a reflection of you and you put your reputation on (the) line.

I had one chap who did some stupid things in one of our aeroplanes. I Googled him as I did not have his e-mail address. He'd written some shocking things on the web a few years ago about being an 'A' type personality with aggressive tendancies... I don't want him flying our aircraft!

Any incident that happens can be Googled by anybody including the press so watch what you say about such things.
This site is an indicator of who's out there in this flying business. It's sometimes an embarrassment to all of us.
There are many who read this site and who do not want to get involved, it has a bad reputation with many.
The silent majority perhaps.

Anyway, we have had a 'TCGuy' for a long time and he has posted positive comments on here.

I really started this thread because another one with this poster's name being last was locked for some reason and I was hoping to find out why.....

Michael, its true that we become what we write, prudence is sometimes necessary and there are always a couple of dozen or so lurkers who never post.

I think that if people stopped posting freely with speculation or comments or whatever then there would be no information shared and this site would be no use whatsoever.

There is a lot of cr*p posted on the site and all of us who post regularly have our detractors, but it still seems to be the best way to disseminate the rumours and gossip that happens in this industry as few of us make contact country-wide in any other manner.

The magazines are sometimes interesting but feedback can take months, which just doesn't cut it in this day and age.

But you're right, safety first in all things.

I was also curious as to why the other topic was locked... Seemed innocent enough :/

Using real names perhaps. Maybe Ridley, Rod is a pseudonym...

That thread was blocked a long time ago, it was locked after the post below mine was posted. When it went in the same direction of many other threads, I did link the original thread in my post.

A new thread was started about the whitecourt CADOR and very quickly went in the same direction as the other previous 2 threads.

It looks like a Mod linked the two threads and kept it locked.

I agree with the link, how many times do we need to have the exact same conversation on this Forum?

I've unlocked the "Lack of Seriousness at TC" thread to which Transport Snitch posted. I don't see why it should be locked and think it was in error ... threads are locked before merging and usually unlocked afterwards.

Surely you jest, Widow? An honest mistake by a Moderator? That couldn't possibly be it. It HAS to be a conspiracy, and a Transport employee must be behind it.

Of course a PM to one of the mods asking about it or a less dramatic thread title just wouldn't be avcanadian, would it?

Yeah it was me, and I missed a step in my post merging. I have flagellated myself with the power cord on my laptop, and now I am sending myself to stand to the naughty corner for an hour.

Thanks Xbank

I dial the site up from time to time to see what I'm missing back in industry.
When I replied to the Cadors post, I had to set the facts straight as to who the originator was for the few lighter moments we have. Come this fall things will become humdrum again. Mr. R has few humour bones...
As to Cats comments it wasn't I but you're absolutely correct that we have folks in high places that are out of control. Think it's bad now just sit back and wait for our new programs and changes that are currently under way!!!! Many of us can smell a new Dryden in the near future which is most unfortunate.

We have reached a very serious place in time in Canada when we see people in positions of power who's duty it is to ensure the law is enforced being guilty of abuse of power and utter disregard for the very laws they are sworn to uphold.

I wonder if Prusse's replacement will be just another self serving unethical disgrace to the position he will be in charge of?

Will we see another MP stand up in Parliament and accuse him of contempt of Parliament down the road?

With that name he/she might just be on the same side as me, so why would I jump all over him/her?

Yeah, but it was me and I don't work work for Transport...I was just missing a step or two in the thread merging process. I blame just curious, though, because we were chatting while I was doing the moderating.
