As usual, another rumor I hear flying around. Is there any truth behind this?

The only truth is WJA has applied for ETOPS. No destinations have been announced as of yet. It also depends on what type of ETOPS approval they get ie 120 min, 180 min. Normally a carrier gets 120 first then once they have proven themselves they may get 180. 120 minutes = UK
180 minutes = Hawaii.
