FMS Simulator?

Post by Mode C »

Guys and gals,

Just starting a new job flying bigger machines than I've been accustomed to and was wondering if there is such a thing out there as a FMS simulator? During my previous training, I've played around with GPS simulators/trainers before from Bendix King etc. and I was wondering if there was an equivalent for FMS systems? Particularly the one found in the Q400, I believe it is the Universal UNS-1E.

Thanks in advance!

They're definitely out there.

I had a copy of the 737NG CBT disc... with FMS stuff on there. Tutorials and interactive data input, etc. Not sure what version of FMS this was...

Good luck with your search

You didn't get the navigation course when you did your simulator sessions?

Bill Bulfer has an FMC guide that is very useful for Boeings. The book is about 45 dollars and has everything. Try www.fmcguide.com
