Your favourite aircraft!
So what are your favourite types, that you have flown, or want to fly sometime?
Here's my list:
Super Cub (especially with 180hp) sadly, this is the only one from the list that I have time on.
180/185
BEAVER
Helio Courier
Norseman
Beech 18
Twin Otter
Those ones just make me drool. I guess you could also add....
(I see myself as an old guy with grey hair at the controls of these...)
Polish Otter
DHC-5
L100/C-130
DC-3/DC-4
Cheers!

loved the 7AC - Aeronca Champ (on skis is even better)
I have a wee soft spot for a certain 150
sniff
Katana, because they are slick
Aztec, because they are indestructible, and fly like a lazy boy.
Want to fly a Dash 7...sexy beast...love those.

BBJ with a hot tub loaded with horny young women.
"FLY THE AIRPLANE"!
http://www.youtube.com/hazatude
http://www.youtube.com/hazatude
What I've flown, off the top of my head:
Cessna 120, 140, 150, 152, 170, 172, 180, 185, 206, 310.
Pipers: can't remember all those funny Indian names and numbers. Rag-wing taildraggers and nosedraggers and metal (various cherokees, twin comanche, seneca, apache, aztec)
Beechcraft: Debonair, Bonanza, Baron
Maules: M4-210C, various M5 and M6 Lyc 540 models.
Decathlon: 8KCAB (I think - 150hp c/s - a long time ago)
Stinson: 108-3
Taylorcraft: BC12D (65hp hand-bomb)
Grumman: Cheetah, Tiger (AA5A/B)
RV8 (limited acro)
Swearingen SX300 (formation acro)
Mooney: M20J
Lancair: Columbia 400
Pitts: S-1T, S-2A, S-2B, S-2C
T-34 (bonanza in drag)
P-51 (actually TF-51)
I've probably forgotten a bunch. Oh yeah, ultralights, I try to forget about them.
Aircraft I would like to fly:
Sukhoi: 26/29/31 (radial monoplane)
MiG-29
F-104

Cessna 120, 140, 150, 152, 170, 172, 180, 185, 206, 310.

-Zlin 142C (my fav thus far
)
-C150
-C172
-PA28-151 Warrior
-PA38-112 Tomahawk (own one - lots of fun
)
-Grumman AA5 Tiger (also fun
)
Would like to fly:
-Beech 1900D
-Piaggio Avanti
-Adam A700
-Aerostar
-Turbine Commander
-Twin Otter
-Dash 8
-CL215/415
-Lear 45
-Any number of others. Really, I could go on for awhile. . .
In my dreams:
-North American XB70 Valkyrie
-CF18
-Northrop F20 Tigershark
-Sukhoi SU35
-F86 Sabre
-CF100 Canuck
-CF105 Arrow MK II (Iroquois version)
It's pretty hard to pick an all-time favourite aircraft, but if you push me I'll probably say the Arrow, followed closely by almost anything made by DeHavilland. Great thread. It's nice to dream. . .

Understanding begets harmony; in seeking the first you will find the last.
Kind of always favoured
DC-8-62 and better... the work horse, pound for pound the best freight aircraft there is...they still fly em!
Twin Otter - another work horse will be hard to duplicate
B737 and B767 - Best in the passenger and or freight category, still flying many of the old ones and both solid aircraft.

Revisions.....
(my first list was more of an "I can se myself in this in my career" list, but since you all went nuts, what the hell) (and, forgot to mention the CL415, and Pilatus PC-6T)
add the Spitfire, Staggerwing, Grumman Goose, Canso/Catalina, and Connie to my second list. Hell, add any pretty old airplane. And anything built by Sukhoi.
The DO-X would be an unforgettable experience. Nothing like a flying cruise ship.
And here's the "have flown" list, which aren't all drool inducing:
-C150, C172M/N, C172 on CAP 2000 floats and Horton STOL, C172 w/ Horton STOL and oversize landing gear.
-Piper PA18-150, PA28-140, PA28-161
-Moravan Zlin 242L (fun, but not exactly an off-pavement airplane)
