Won't be a laughing matter if/when a natural disaster happens here and the government is unable to respond effectively to it. Prior to that it's just an exercise, but then people die.

Anyone else notice that the Liberals are using the first time a Canadian government has had to respond to a massive flu epidemic (and has done quite well imho) to voice their concern that the Conservatives are incompetent because they can't accurately 'predict' how many flu vaccines a private company can produce? The PC's informed Canadians how many flu shots would be available according to the information provided by the company making the vaccine. Therefore the accuracy of the 'prediction' is based on the accuracy of that information. How hard is that to understand as a Liberal?
I wonder how well a Liberal government would have made the 'predictions'. Do the liberals have some fantasy that flu vaccines for 28+ million people would just appear out of thin air?

Having a standard that pilots lose their licence after making a mistake despite doing no harm to aircraft or passengers means soon you needn't worry about a pilot surplus or pilots offering to fly for free. Where do you get your experience from?
