Morningstar Air Express

Post by hellasjet »

Hi,
I did a search but couldn't find any info on the interview process for s/o on the B727 at Morningstar.
Any tips on what to expect (does it get technical?) and who usually conducts the interviews would be greatly appreciated!

Also is there anyone who currently works as s/o? What are the some of the pros/cons.

Thanks!

I'd be really interested in knowing how long they plan to operate the 727, and what they will do with all of the S/O's when they are gone.

Best be ready to ask some questions yourself. We go in so focused on just getting the job at all costs, that we forget to INTERVIEW THE EMPLOYER.

Yeah I agree..I'm worried about that as well. That's at the top of my list to ask whoever is doing the interview. Do you know if a s/o log any flight hrs? I think in the US they can log 1 out 3hrs...not sure tho.

The 727's at Morningstar will be replaced by 757's starting late next year. If you were to be hired there now you would most likely find yourself out on the street when the last 727 is retired. The back seat is a dead end street, go find a flying job and log some real time.

could not agree more. it will all be over soon when the 757 arrive and you be out on the street, with pretty much nothing but a backseat ticket....
