Where can I find an AIM Hard copy?
Just wondering where I can find a hard copy of the AIM somewhere in Winnipeg. Anyone have any suggestions?

You could buy it online if you really needed it:

You can always print the pdf file; if you don't have a printer up to the job, Kinkos, the UPS Store and any other copy shop with an internet connection can do it.

To my knowledge there are no more copies (i.e. issues) being printed, so you 'll have to do with an old copy or print one from the .pdf file.

You can still buy a current AIM from stores such as VIP or Calgary Pilot Supply.

Quick question:
Is the AIM regulatory?
The reason I ask is that down here, everything in the AIM is "good" however not binding. Only the FAR's are, however they seem to go hand in hand.
Last time I flew in Canada we had the AIP.

1 866 731-PUBS (7827)
Found in the online AIM.
1.2 Preflight Reference Information
The preflight reference information is contained in the following publications:
TC AIM (TP 14371E)
AIP Canada (ICAO)
CARs (TP 12600E)
DAH (TP 1820E)
The TC AIM is available to purchase or by subscription. A new edition is published every six months. Other publications can be purchased as detailed in MAP 7.0.

Nothing like having the paper copy to study from. Highlighters are a great thing when in come to review time.
