Morningstar/Flightcraft/CargoJet
How much longer will the 727 fleets keep flying?
Do any of these companies have replacement plans?
I know CargoJet has the 757 but will there be more?

Re: Morningstar/Flightcraft/CargoJet
Morningstar will be retiring the 727 by 2012 I was told.
CargoJet who knows a 1 million dollar 727 vs a 40 million dollar 757 means it takes a lot of burnt dinosaurs before the fuel $$ becomes a huge factor but I could see them gradually picking up more 757 and retiring the 727 slowly and having a common type 757 and 767 fleet......
Flightcraft are you kidding me, they will be lucky to see a twin jet by 2050

Re: Morningstar/Flightcraft/CargoJet
A quick look at Cargojet's stock (cjt.un) performance and their quarterly reports over the past year and a half show that the fleet renewal program was a sound decision. Having said that I think there is a place for the B727 in all three companies for many years to come. When they are finished with them there are plenty of companies in Africa who will use them. I think I know of one such place:

Good to hear (literally) the 727 keep flying!
Re: Morningstar/Flightcraft/CargoJet
Supposedly Cargojet's regional division is unstable at the moment. I'm curious to see what happens there.

Does that include Prince Edward Air?
