Aviation accountant in Toronto

Post by Terminator »

Hi there,
Does anybody know a good accountant that deals with pilots in the Toronto area?
My taxes are a mess this year with 3 jobs, moving here and there etc.
Thank you

www.quicktax.ca

Very easy to find every dollar you're owed. Moving for work is one of the biggest ways to get a bigger refund, provided the difference is greater than 40km. You can claim everything from food and hotel during the moving trip to cost to maintain your old residence (including pay in lieu of notice for rental property).

There is also an exhaustive list of all deductions you can make and it give you step by step directions as to how to claim them.

Plus if you do online banking with one of the major banks, you can get 20% off.

I don't like online banking, travel booking, or buying insurance or other personal business like that because I think the internet could be used to collect information on people. I wouldn't put it past the government that they have already started doing that. I don't want the government to have my travel plans readily available at their fingertips.
I notice all sorts of companies want you to go online to buy their product or whatever and they will give you discounts, rebates, etc. if you do. I also notice there are not too many laws regarding internet.

But, OHHHH........my accountant is pretty good, but I'm in Winnipeg

someone pass the tin foil...Sheila needs a hat.

Quicktax will save you a ton of money and it will do the exact same thing as any good accountant, provided you pay attention to what's going on. Even errors that come up are flagged later on to be fixed. As long as the numbers are right, its straight foreward.
