Lake Nipigon
Is there anybody around Nipigon right now that can tell me where the nearest float base is that I might be able to get permission to tie down at for a week? Thanks

Try Alan Cheeseman at Wilderness North on Waweig Lake (on northwest shore of Nipigon) They've got Avgas and Jet and may have enough room to fit you in. And the lake is a good 2nm round with a large dock. Armstrong is just a 15 min drive. Rooms may be available to rent at the floatbase and they have a "restaurant" you can purchase meals at. Great folks too.
