a question to all the people using an electronic logbook. what have you done or plan to do at an interview for either westjet or air canada? do you print it off and put it in a binder? are they ok with this presentation?

Worked for me...
I don't have a paper logbook, since my CPL training days. I went to an electric format and just printed it all off. If TC liked it for my ATPL submission, airlines (unless very anal retentive) should be fine with it. There's no way I would sit and try to write out some 5000 hrs of flying... the first 300 were bad enough!

Airlines have no problem with printed copies of electronic logbooks. I've had the odd yahoo ask me how I certify my times but they usually back off when I explain that TC didn't require it for the ATPL, but I'd be very happy to have anyone they like certify it including god or the pope.

I printed mine and took it in.

As far as certifiying it, you can do it right then and there infront of them if you like (not a good idea, but legal).
